WHO I AM

Elizabeth doesn't just listen. She shows up, fully, candidly, and with the kind of engaged presence that makes clients feel genuinely seen, often for the first time. With over 15 years of experience across school systems, correctional facilities, and community-based settings, Elizabeth has worked with some of the most complex and underserved populations in the field. She has sat with people in their darkest moments, and she does not flinch. WHO I WORK WITH Elizabeth works with children of divorce, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has extensive experience supporting individuals involved in the criminal justice system, at-risk youth, students with emotional and behavioral IEPs, and people navigating dual diagnoses, trauma, domestic violence, self-harm, and harm reduction. She has broad clinical experience across a wide spectrum of mental health presentations including anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, depression, dysthymia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, dissociative identity disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, self-harm, and suicidal ideation, as well as the everyday emotional challenges that do not always have a diagnostic name but are no less real.

MY APPROACH

Elizabeth's style is warm, direct, and deeply practical. Sessions with Elizabeth are not passive. She offers coaching-style feedback, concrete tools, and goal-oriented strategies alongside the deeper reflective work, because healing in her view should be felt in real life, not just in the therapy room. She draws from a range of evidence-based modalities tailored to each client's needs, including Psychoanalysis, Strength-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). What sets Elizabeth apart is her understanding that clinical training alone does not capture the full picture of a human being. Trained with an intellectual grounding in Western psychology and a deep personal calling toward Eastern healing traditions, Elizabeth is a Reiki Master/Teacher via the Usui Shiki Ryoho Lineage, a Karuna Reiki Practitioner, an Acutonics Sound Healing Practitioner, and a certified Crystal Therapy Healer, bringing a truly integrative lens to her clinical work for clients who are ready to explore healing beyond talk therapy.

TRAINING & CREDENTIALS

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Tampa and a Master of Social Work with a clinical therapy concentration from New York University. She is a Reiki Master/Teacher via the Usui Shiki Ryoho Lineage, a Karuna Reiki Practitioner, an Acutonics Sound Healing Practitioner, and a certified Crystal Therapy Healer.

SERVICE LOCATION

Elizabeth works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She offers both in-person sessions in Farmingdale, Long Island and virtual therapy throughout New York State.
