Meet Elizabeth, LMSW & Reiki Master

With over 15 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals across school systems, correctional facilities, and community-based settings. My work has included those involved in the criminal justice system, at-risk youth, students with emotional or behavioral IEPs, and individuals navigating dual diagnoses, trauma, self-harm, harm-reduction, and domestic violence.

My approach is warm, candid, and deeply engaged. I strive to do more than listen — I make it a priority to help my clients feel truly seen and heard. I offer coaching-style feedback, practical tools, and goal-oriented strategies in a space that is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and safe. I integrate a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to each individual’s needs, including:

• Strength-Based Therapy

• Motivational Interviewing

• Dialectical and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (DBT & CBT)

Over the years, I’ve supported individuals facing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, including:

• Self-harm and suicidal ideation

• Schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and delusional disorders

TRAINING & EDUCATION

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Tampa and a Master’s degree in Social Work with a clinical therapy concentration from New York University. With an intellectual understanding of the Western world, but a divine passion for the Eastern world, I extended my scope of healing and therapy, and became a Reiki Master/Teacher via Usui Shiki Ryoho Lineage. I am also a Karuna Reiki Practitioner, an Acutonics Sound Healing Practitioner, and certified Crystal Therapy Healer. 

Services

Clinically, I have a strong passion for working with children of divorce, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I offer services both virtually and in person in Farmingdale, Long Island.
