Meet Lauren, LISW-S & Certified Trauma Specialist

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisor Designation. I am also a Certified Trauma Specialist, adoptive parent and retired foster parent. 

I started working in the field of Social Work in 2007 and have experience working in many different social work settings including: Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, outpatient and school based mental health care.

I enjoy working with all different backgrounds and pride myself on utilizing a supportive, strength based, and client centered approach to therapy. I specialize in foster care & adoption, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance and Depression.

TRAINING & EDUCATION

I received my bachelor’s degrees in social work from the University of Cincinnati, specializing in Child Welfare from the UPP program in 2009. I received my master’s degree in social work, specializing in Mental Health from the University of Cincinnati in 2014. I also have my MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University (2016).
